Texture and Space Units
Creating the Graffiti wall-Space unit. We will use the four basic concepts of creating space and create a graffiti wall. We will look through the student examples and identify the 4 ways to create space. Anyone who chooses to dig deeper, can independently explore the rules of creating perspective, These techniques can be added on your wall. Watch the one-point and two-point perspective videos and practice the instructions given, then practice with paper, ruler and pencil to try your hand at either style, finish your work in pen and ink, erase pencil when finished. Turn in your work on google classroom.
"Graffiti wall" Process to follow:
At least 6 ideas need to express who you are in your art work.

To make sure you are using the area on your paper, here are some suggestions:

To make sure you are using the area on your paper, here are some suggestions:
- Your most important could be drawn out to touch 3 of the four sides of the paper. the next two items about 1/3 or 1/4 of the surface.
- Create two or more "Written Words or phrases" done with a unique font style which would express yourself.
- Sketch out ideas using the different items in a way that represents overlapping, high to low placement, shading, and, size differentiation.
- The background space should represent a "wall."
- Use pen and ink to show what the wall surface looks like. Look for examples on google if you need ideas.
- Use watercolor on the graffiti.
- Take a photo of completed project, and write your reflection of your process/learning and turn in to "My Work" in google classroom.
