Row and Grid example and process
Row and Grid Pattern Example
*7 Sections on board,
*Use thin cardboard and Glue grid together two layers thick. (Brick laying technique)
Do not glue grid to the bottom board!
* 4 sections with color (using only 3 primary colors, or monochromatic scale)
*3 or more sections painted white.
*Fill white sections with items from nature, creating a low relief effect.
*Items can be made out of any found material.
*Mark sections on board, then paint grid black.
*While drying, paint the boxes on the board white and your choice of colors.
* Once dried, attach painted grid to painted board with Elmer's glue.
*Apply pressure to ensure attachment.
* Paint the outside edge of the grid and board black.
* Paint and glue in low relief items.
*Write your reflection on the learning target sheet.
*Take photo of completed artwork and send in on project submission button.
*Hand in the project physically with the learning target sheet taped to the back.
