Contrast Unit:
Definition-Contrast refers to differences in values, colors, textures, shapes, and other elements. Contrasts create visual excitement, and add interest to the work. When the art elements - value, for example - are the same, the result is monotonous and flat; which is unexciting.
What do you see?
What do you Think about that?
What does it make you wonder?
Spanish Surrealist artist Salvador Dali had a lifelong fascination with American actress and sex icon Mae West. In 1935 Dali used a photographic portrait of West to produce a collage of her face which also looks like a room.
