Color Unit Instructions
Start the Color unit by Playing the filling in the notes pages, hover over the color changing words and click "S.O.U.L. food,"

Interesting fact: A weighted border is when the border is larger on the bottom than the other 3 sides. It shows the viewer how the artist intended to have the artwork viewed.

Basic Process:
1. Choose Artist, Create initial Sketch 2. Cut into 4 unequal Sections. 3. Set up color families, write on the back of each section and peer check. 4. Add color and value, peer check again. 5. Glue onto black paper. 6.Take a Pic of project, then Upload to site=Submit. 7. Write learning Targets, put in turn-in bin. DONE!! |
Grading Targets:
1. All color families are represented. 2. Correct values are demonstrated in each family. 3. All sections meet the decided upon requirements. 4. Weighted border is cropped properly. |
